Glee has turned itself from an in-depth show to a charttopping monster. The show seems to be more focused on having songs chart in the Billboard Hot 100 than deepening the show’s plot. being the popular US TV Show hitting high on the ratings, Glee decided to cast some characters in the show. One of them is Filipino pop singer Charice.
Glee: The Music, Journey to Regionals is an extended play that features songs which were performed by the Glee cast during Glee’s season finale. I have to say, I like their song choices this week and I think that this EP is better than Showstoppers. The problem with the Back 9 episodes is that it’s uninteresting and that the most pleasing episode so far with great songs is The Power of Madonna episode which also released an awesome EP.
Glee`s Season 1 Finale was a disappointing tearjerker. The songs chosen were awesome excluding Somewhere Over the Rainbow. The episode was fast-paced albeit a bit tasteless – hanging due to an informal closure. The finale episode was another one of the “Back 9 trashes.”
